David Hasse, RRC

Technical Specialist

Dave Hasse joined Professional Roof Consultants in 2019.  He contributes to the success of our client’s projects by utilizing his expertise as a building enclosure consultant to perform failure investigations, conditional assessments, design reviews, and construction quality assurance oversight.  Dave provides technically sound and practical solutions, working through construction challenges with the goal of optimizing the function of a building enclosure.

Mr. Hasse has been in the building enclosure industry since 1987 and has worked as a Building Enclosure Consultant since 1999.  His experience includes the investigation, assessment, design, and construction oversight of building enclosure systems such as low and steep slope roof coverings, EIFS and stucco wall cladding, decorative and ornamental sheet metal elements, masonry wall systems, exterior glazing assemblies, below-grade waterproofing, and plaza deck construction.  Dave’s industry involvement includes a term on the Ethics Committee of IIBEC.

Hobbies

When the work is done, Dave enjoys exploring everything that Portland and the Pacific Northwest has to offer, with a particular affinity for our city’s beautiful parks and region’s amazing natural wonders.  Though he claims no expertise or particular skill, Dave can sometimes be found standing in a river waving a fly rod, strolling through a forest in search of ruffed grouse, or swinging a golf club with a desperate look of hope on his face.
