Steven L. McBride has been with Professional Roof Consultants, Inc. since the inception of the firm in January of 1992. Steven’s role within the firm advanced to the position of Vice President in 1994, and in 1998 he assumed the office of President and CEO of the firm.
Steven’s experience originates from his active involvement in all aspects of the consulting industry. Aside from corporate management, primary responsibilities include investigation and design for roof, waterproofing, and building envelope projects, expert witness services for construction dispute cases, organizing and implementing roof management programs, performing detailed investigations and evaluations, and managing office standards. In addition, he also performs quality assurance reviews on various technical reports and specifications that are produced within the firm. Mr. McBride provides PRC with a broad range of experience associated with the roofing industry. Prior to starting his professional career at PRC, Steven was an established journeyman roofer, with his roofing “roots” taking place between 1985 and 1992. His expertise in the roofing industry includes knowledge and application of numerous roof & waterproofing systems, including built-up, modified bitumen, single ply membranes, fluid applied systems, sheet metal systems, and various steep roofing systems. He also offers instinctive expertise in understanding where roof related problems originate, and provides expert witness services related to construction dispute cases.
Steven and his wife Shannon have been married since 1993 and have raised two wonderful children (young adults now), Andrew and Gabby. Aside from working (and vacationing), Steven enjoys spending time outdoors participating in all types of activities, especially snowboarding in the winter months, and hiking, boating, and golfing (attempting) in the warmer months in the beautiful and scenic Pacific Northwest.Back to About
