PRC was tasked with providing roof assessment services on a 10,100 square foot community center/school in Portland, Oregon.  Services for this project were divided into two phases.  Phase One involved a site visit to review existing roof-related conditions from both the building interior and from direct access to the roof itself.  Existing conditions were recorded, and any problematic conditions noted.  PRC took core samples of the low-slope roof assemblies to verify the assembly makeup and to test for asbestos containing materials.  Phase Two involved compiling all data collected in the field into an assessment report.  Field notes were entered into PRC’s RoofPro© database and included within the final report document.  The final report outlined existing conditions, items of concern, maintenance, repair and replacement recommendations, and cost estimates for each outlined Scope of Work.
