In an effort to install a new AT&T cellular tower at the Oregon Zoo, Velocitel contacted TriMet to propose renting roof space on top of the TriMet station located on the Oregon Zoo property.  PRC was requested by TriMet to review documents and plans for the new cellular tower installation to ensure that the existing roof warranty would be maintained.  It was determined that this existing roof would be damaged beyond reuse during the construction process and that a new roof would need to be installed.  PRC provided direction and review of the roofing specifications to ensure that TriMet was left with a new roof that met the design criteria of the structure and would provide weathertight performance for many years to come.

The Project included full removal and disposal of the existing metal panel roof system, and installation of new structural supports engineered for securement of a new screen wall installation to hide the new antenna from site.  Installation of a new standing seam metal panel roof system over new self-adhered underlayment for a new 20 year warranty.

Upon completion of the new standing seam metal panel roof system, PRC performed a visual inspection of the installation to ensure the installed system was in accordance with the Contract Documents. Upon completion of the project, TriMet received a new standing seam metal roof system over the bus transit station, and AT&T received a new cellular tower location.
