Certifications

Professional Roof Consultants, Inc. specializes in field diagnosis, expert testimony, and corrections of construction defects related to water intrusion; and for this purpose we have obtained firm based and individually based professional licenses and certifications. In order to provide competent technicians as dictated by our Company Mission, OAR, and Industry Standard, we maintain our commitment to the profession and industry.  We uphold all of the requirements for retaining RRO and licensed Private Investigator status, and consider continuing education to be a necessary requirement for preserving our reputation as the leader in our field of expertise.

The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC)

In order to remain competent in the field and continue fostering their education, all of our Technical Staff maintain individual IIBEC certifications. By staying up-to-date on industry standards and the performance and application of all types of systems under various stresses, PRC’s Technical Specialists are able to offer exceptional consultation services.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board

PRC maintains a contractor’s license as required by OAR for the purpose of performing commercial building envelope inspections, performance of destructive testing, bid solicitations in the private and public environment, construction administration services, among others. CCB#168972

Most PRC Technical Specialists have received INSTALLATIONMASTERS® training and certification for installing various windows and envelope systems in accordance with industry standards and guidelines. In addition to installation, our specialists are able to assist with determining construction and preparing repair scopes and details.

An organization that keeps and changes the standardization of construction language as it pertains to building specifications. CSI provides structured guidelines for specification writing in their Project Resource Manual. CSI is a must for any professional involved in designing, supplying, building, negotiating, planning, contracting or any other function in the construction-building industry.

Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards & Training

In order to bolster their expert witness testimony and comply with the Oregon Evidence Code, which identifies those able to render expert opinions other than architects and engineers, many PRC Technical Specialists maintain individual Private Investigator Licenses as required by the OAR.
